"no it's not"

Yes it is.

"Now the humor IS the album"

The only songs that could be considered humerus are TMM and the title track, I don't see why everybody is judging the whole album like it's just littered with farts and cheesburgers. But I see what you mean Stokes, it's a love it or hate it album I guess.

there's nothing that makes the concept mature at all it's retarded to think something like that

i mean whatever if you like it i dont care i think its average especially for him but theres literally no way you can call the concept mature

This shit keeps getting better and better. Save for a couple parts in The Mighty Masturbator ("Save the world, you fool, you child" etc) this is absolutely killer, especially Stand, the title track and Poltergeist. That said, I love every track. Easily a 5.

Ya, the last half of stand is incredible. That guitar solo rules.

To be honest, if you do actually think the concept of this is remotely intelligent, you're reeking of fanboy. Even in interviews he explains it in a different way every time. It makes sense to *him* - which is fine, but not really to us.

Superb album, though.

Haha yeah, it's supposed to be stupid and illogical, so it fulfills its purpose in a way. Other than that, the music is just damn fantastic.

Yeah. I like to think of it as a look into the most demented, illogical reaches of Townsend's existential freak outs about life and how he's gotten to where he is now, kind of a tour. .... Which, I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be.

No need to pretend it's super intellectual, it's not supposed to be. I think he once said it's "about as subtle as a hard-on in sweat pants".

Album rules SO hard. The production is top-notch, and it's one of the best sounding (if not THE best) metal mixes I've ever heard.
