"But honestly, I bet it's fucking awesome live."

It was actually probably one of the highlights live and I can't say I loved it too much on the CD so yeah.

Fair to Midland became my favorite band after the release of this album. I try to not let a band with one album become my favorite, though FtM was in the running from the get go with Fables from the Mayfly.

I'm sort of confused by all the hate on Rikki Tikki Tavi. It's an amazingly original (and hilariously awesome) song. What is it you hate about it? That it has has a bit of an edge to it? That it's completely bi-polar (the reason I love it)? FtM is by no means a metal band, even at their heaviest.

Fair to Midland moves effortlessly between the bleeding edges of mainstream rock and modern metal, without ever crossing into either. As much as I love and will always love Fable, I couldn't be happier with Arrows and Anchors. Well worth the wait gang. Can't wait to see you guys live with this new material.

Though I love the entire album, here are my top 5:

Golden Parachutes

Rikki Tikki Tavi

Short-Haired Tornado

A Loophole in Limbo

The Greener Grass

Great album, great review.

I loved Darroh's vocal and lyrical work, and Brett's drumming in this record.

I'm so curious about what their next album will sound like!

Can't wait for another one

btw: Rikki Tikki Tavi was probably one of the craziest songs I have ever heard.

I might have preferred if Rikki Tikki Tavi didn't get heavy, and kept to the sounds of the opening.

Hell yeah. And why is everyone complaining about Rikki Tikki Tavi? That song rules.
