hospital music is just a really, really good thursday ripoff album that has some neat songwriting.
Depending on my mood I'll prefer Hospital Music to their newer sound, but it's abundantly clear that they've matured a lot since then.

what does that even mean? the album is fairly consistent throughout. though it's understandable if you're butthurt because you can't fit this into your itunes classified by genre.

me neither. at the very least this is better than hospital music. i like his higher range but not really his gruff tom waits-y voice.

The vocalist ultimately kills the experience for me.

I loved the lyrics I won't lie but the vocals really annoy me. It's a shame too because I love the rhythm the band has throughout the songs.
