this is worse than okay, this is just a blatant cold body radiation ripoff. yeah I know, both were around at the same time but they went from something that was at least good to just ripping off their sound and aesthetic.

not only that but it's far worse, they don't pull off the uplifting feeling of cold body radiation nearly as well as they do and overall just sound confused, going from one mood to the other with absolutely no cohesion

not only that but the vocals here are awful, they just sound like a constant noise over the music as opposed to actually sounding like the guy is saying anything.

idk it just seems like yet another shitty post-black album with no flair or creativity whatsoever and it just turns into a mess of buzz-words and done-before clichés

Noctus doesn't like this so it's definitely a high priority on my To Listen To list now.

Eh I'm a sucker for this kinda thing. I don't think it's a Cold Body Radiation ripoff in any way, but hey, that's just me. Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Thanks a lot buddy. I definitely worked to improve on this one and I guess I did. And yeah, most people are disagreeing with me on the rating, but I think you might be one to think the same way as me. At least I hope haha.

I can't really comment on the rating yet but that's irrelevant. You had good, legitimate points to make about the album and backed them up with smooth writing. It was really good man.

I really apprciate that man. As for the album, it's pretty different from Lost, as I pointed out, but I think you'll still dig it.

Lost is better, but yeah, this one still rules. Both are 4.5's for me.

Giving this a 3.5 based on the first listen, but i see it likely going up. Or it could get ignored completely, who knows.

There were quite a few tracks on this that i loved on the first listen (Absence of Contrast, Her Dress as a Poem, I am the Veil, and Rain). The rest i thought were either alright or didn't leave much of an impression on me.

I love them but, I am the Veil is probably my favorite.
