there are very few bands that sound like early dEUS, which is a good or a bad thing depending on your viewpoint

^I've only heard this and Keep you Close to date. According to what I heard from people here, In a Bar is the best place to start, then Keep you Close. Worst Case Scenario apparently shows their more rocking side, and The Ideal Crash is also worth a serious listen.

The Ideal Crash is amazing, I would advise anybody new to the band to start with this record.

While I find it really hard to compare dEUS with any other band, I would go ahead and say their music can undoubtedly please fans of Crowded House, Cake or David Bowie IMO.
