Album Rating: 2.5

Their debut took over Nashville, 'Need You Now' conquered America & now Lady Antebellum's 3rd LP 'Own the Night' attempts to dominate the world. The Grammy winning pop-country trio play it safe here, draining the fun from their tunes so as not to offend anyone. Way too ballad heavy, this is more soft radio-rock than country or pop music, and with arguably the front half containing the highlights, it runs out of steam well before the end. No songs are awful... It's just that it's all very unmemorable, with nothing as catchy as their most famous tunes, making this their least effective LP to date. Recommended Tracks: Just a Kiss, Friday Night & Cold as Stone.

These guys are really trying to sue another Lady A (who's been around well before 2020) for rights to name?
