Not much death metal touches this, god dang masterpiece.

Anyone watch the Garza Podcast with Defeated Sanity? Lillie was praising this and Hallucinations.

Haven't heard of that podcast but I'm definitely gonna check it out. If anyone has any good recommendations for podcasts that interview extreme metal bands or more abrasive punk shit and just discuss it in general please throw them my way! I listen to a ton of podcasts and only metal related ones I'm aware of are Jasta, Flynns and a review one called Corpse Cast.

Also on topic of the album. This thing is insane. Honestly probably deserves the 5. It'll be there one day just gotta make the clicks happen

I had never heard of it either tbh, I only found that one when I was looking for Defeated Sanity interviews lol.

Don't normally listen to podcasts but I enjoyed the Garza one, so I'll definitely check the ones you mentioned.

Listening now. They seem like real cool dudes.

Also the names of those are The Jasta Show, Flynns is No F'n Regrets and Corpse Cast is just two normal dudes but each episode they review a metal/punk album and a horror movie. They cover a pretty wide range of stuff on the last one. One of the dudes is in a horror punk band that's pretty solid and they're out of Salt Lake City Utah so every now and then they showcase a cool local band from their scene out there

Just finished up the episode. It was nice to hear this get some love and I definitely agree about the importance of these guys when it comes to tech death as a whole. Still easily one of the best to do it too.

Also it's cool to learn that Psalms was straight up recorded live. I really wish more bands would do that and also wish there was a list I could find that lays out all of the death metal albums that were recorded live.

I spin both albums regularly but Hallucinations is still their best imo

@combustion Yeah seem like cool dudes, was not expecting Jacob to have an American accent, lol.

@DePlazz Hallucinations is so good, did find that one a bit easier to get into than this one.

I find myself returning to this one more than Hallucinations these days but that may be because I found Hallucinations way before this one so I've still got that fresh feeling jamming this one. Both albums are amazing and ahead of their time though

Wish this band kept making dm, but I'm just glad this & Hallucinations exist.
