Just because most people think it sucks doesn't mean they're mindless sheep... they just think it sucks because it does.

Haha, yep! Now do yourself a favor and don't listen to this. I mean, it's kind of funny, but mostly
really offensive.
Wasn't planning on it, but cheers for the heads up

Nevermind, man. I'm quite clearly insane. For a second I thought I was around educated humans with a drive for knowledge. I forgot I was on Earth. My fault. Continue on with your crusade for conformity. One day all the music will sound the same and we will enter a golden age of utopia. One music for all. Fuck yeah.

Well as long as it doesn't sound like this album we'll be A-okay
|
| |
listened to this
yeah my actual thoughts are that it starts out sort of interesting/sad/weird/funny as a failed experiment but then it goes on for like two hours
"little dog" honestly works sort of well (it's the only song where lou reed's vocals seem to have anything to do with the instrumentation) and i actually sort of like the first eight minutes of "junior dad" but the rest sucks soooooo bad

It's not like you're able to provide adequate insight yourself

I picture deviant being this skinny pasty white guy with greasy straight hipster hair.
But he has this incredible handlebar mustache.

I have you pictured as the really annoying exchange student who humps everyone's leg

You are right, I'm ignorant on this. But the difference between you and I is that I will check these plays out and educate myself. I don't stay ignorant.

Have fun with that

No greasy straight hair for me, but thank you for thinking of me

btw i showed a friend of mine some lyrics on this and he said the "waggle my ass like a dark prostitute coagulating heart pumping blood" line sounded like something Cedric Bixler Zavala would write.
i lol'd so hard because it's kinda true.

Metallica WAS talented back in the day, but i never considered them creative. This shows how "creative" they truly are... they arent

Listening to Lou's not-awful material, and it definitely doesn't suck. He actually doesn't use a
monotone on "Walk on the Wild Side," and his other songs unlike he does on this record. Seriously,
what was the point of his using no emotion on this record? Blah blah poetry. If this had been a
post-rock record then the boring vocals would've been fine, but they're not at all appropriate for a
metal album.

Isn't that pretty much happening now? The figures of people listening to music other than what's on the radio seems to be like 1 in 500
