yeah, this is definitely better than lungs. this is cohesive in a way that that album wasn't, and i'm normally someone who praises an album for having a lot of variety, but some of the tracks on lungs just felt like they didn't even belong on the same album.

I think the bigger problem than lack of diversity is lack of originality. Every song is well done, but I feel like I've heard most of them before (specifically Never Let Me Go and Lover to Lover).

No, but I believe that an artist who tries different things, who experiments with their sound and
their own abilities, has more of the latter.
