I just listened to every single Beatles album I own in a row over the past two days and this is my conclusion.

Sgt. Pepper > Magical Mystery Tour > Rubber Soul > Revolver > Abbey Road.

I am almost 100% sure I am the only one who has this opinion.

Rubber Soul is their second-to-worst of their later period stuff, right in front of Magical Mystery Tour.

I must be missing something because I don't see how this is a 5/5 album. The first half is pure awesomeness but the album dies off towards the end. This Message Edited On 02.08.06

Abbey Road > White Album > Revolver > Rubber Soul > Sgt Pepper's

Though it's pretty pointless and trivial to rank Beatles albums.

I like Sgt. Peppers a lot. Revolver owns though. Excellent collection of songs.

YOU'RE mediocre at best.

It really is an outstanding album, people just tragically overrated by some and therefore maligned by others.

Classic, definetly one of my favorites

Taxman,She Said She Said, and Doctor Robert are great.

Not that it really matters, but the album was named after the motion of the spinning record on a turntable, not the gun. This Message Edited On 03.18.06

Revolver was actually released on August 4, 1966. Other than that, good review.

Eleanor Rigby is John Lennon’s magnum opus of unaccompanied vocals with a brilliant, dramatic string orchestra consisting of arco-esque upright bass playing and violins, viola, and cello,

Eleanor Rigby is Paul McCartney's song! But other than that, this is a fantastic review! This Message Edited On 04.17.06
