The new one is better than expected. The first track got me preoccupied but I'm digging the new album more than I thought I would, there's a "poppy" sensibility in the vocals that makes the songs work.
Btw I definitely agree with those who think that CBR is a AAFCC side-project. Even the vocals sound the same, both harsh and clean (AAFCC used cleans in a few brief occasions), and it makes sense considering that the guy is credited as "M"; there's a "MCHL" in AAFCC. I like to believe that M uses CBR to publish his solo, mellower stuff

It's crazy that the two albums that came after this are some of the worst albums ever made, but the new one actually rules.

Yeah I can see what you meant now Hawks. This is good.

I like more the new one, even if it is an unpopular opinion, and even offensive to brother Hawks.

I like the new one as well, but the drumming triggers me too hard. Am drummer so :/

Drummer here too. And yeah the drums are nasty stuff there, I dig the melodies and the blackgaze approach though (more gaze than black tbh).

Nah I love the new album bro, not offensive at all lol.

Wonder if the cleaner approach will influence AAFCC's next album in some ways. Which by the way is titled The Light of September and will be out in, well, September
