Ha. Well, when you take into account the fact that these songs are from the Death Magnetic sessions and are labeled "rough, unpolished mixes," there's really no reason to expect something good on the production level.

you can kinda tell why they left these off DM as they arent as good as most of the album, but they are still fine. "Hate Train" and "Rebel Of Babylon" are both good tracks. I guess this was to help people forget about Lulu.

I'd say they need an inspired drummer more than anything. The drumming in Just a Bullet Away really pisses me off.
