The self-titled is cool as well, you can look into that if you wish. Their earlier stuff is just formulaic melodeath.

Listening to this right now. It's actually surprisingly good.

This band is uniquely bad. Folks who believe this is good have very low standards. in fact, they probably flit around to all sorts of bad and rave about it.
This album reeks. Not one bit of it sounds like authentic anything. It's a massive pile of stolen riffs and ideas.

"Yeah, actually, I'm gonna bump it down to a 4. Don't want people wishing for the second coming of christ in musical form, because, well, this isn't it. Still really, really good though."

Another couple of listens and you'll probably bump it down to a 2.5 where it deserves to be and then wonder if you have any credibility as a reviewer of metal.

Torn Apart is a really cool song. The rest was alright.

I just listened to the title track. It was different.

the video where the guy has a fantasy about being in a twisted theme park is...uh...interesting.

but on the whole I cant say I like this at all

It has grown off me too a bit (it's a 3.5 now) but I still think it's a worthy album and I'm absolutely standing behind my review, even if it was written a tad too enthusiastically.
