no don't do it. none of their albums are close to this. the only redeeming thing from warpaint is work in progress, but even then it has some cringy lyrics (and maybe parachute iirc).

the lead guitarist is in a pretty cool band called dreamcatcher don't think the drummer and vocalist are doing anything and the other guitarist is a piece of shit

I dunno if AJ would do anything justice now. What made him so invaluable to songwriting in general was his brutal honesty, and connecting that to something real in the music. Now that he's married with a child, I don't see his inspiration being nearly as gripping as it was when he was dealing with personal issues.
I could always be wrong. The guy is certainly a talented songwriter. This album is incomparable.
