I'd call it decent music, but to each his own. I didn't say they're trying to be Tool, I said they're just ridiculously similar. I like Tool, so I never said that was a bad thing, either. But go ahead and be butthurt.

How is that a bad thing though?

Because Tool already exists to satisfy my "I feel like listening to Tool" needs. And the vocalist in this band isn't as good.

Nice review, once again Greg. I checked out the one song, and I found it quite boring, but I respect the musicians in the band. I won't let the one song deter me from checking the rest out, but it wasn't doing it for me.

artwork, has nothing to do with Tool/Alex Grey except for influence maybe. Don't know how I feel about the band though.

who cares though? good music is good regardless of who it is similar too.

Hey, I think this is "good" too. The point is that there isn't much reason for me to listen to this when I can just listen to Tool instead. It really is that similar.

That's fair enough, and I'd agree this isn't as good as Tool. More of a good thing is never a reason to complain though.

@SteelErectedb4you8er:

You must have listened to the single. It's most definitely the weakest track on the entire album. Check out some other tunes. If you don't mind the obvious resemblance to Tool, you may dig it.

I understand that some people dislike it. Tool don't release their LPs very often though so it may serve as a temporary replacement for people who enjoy this kind of music.

he's alright, somehow didn't stand out very much for me.

reviewer: you hit the nail on the head with your point about the vocals. he sounds pretty but never hits that intensity that those sections call for. awesome job
