I love this album more and more with each listen, from the second that horrible crash hits in Desperation Breeds to the eerie calm of a wind chime in a summer breeze in the closer Belles. It's much sadder than any other Bird album but more personal, and it was all recorded live on an 8 track which is incredible. It's his Devil and God or Chutes Too Narrow imo.
