Starting to lean more towards a 3.5 on this after a couple more listens. Just seems to lack some of the cohesion of Swoon. Swoon is one of my favorite albums ever though, so it goes without saying that it'll be difficult to top. A great album, but maybe too mellow for my liking.

Nice review. I don't understand people saying they are disappointed either. Sounds to me like they are maturing as a band which is always beautiful to see. Implementing different writing techniques, the layering is much cleaner and detailed.

Yeah a 3 sounds about right but Carnavas is better.

Never really liked this band I one of my friends loves them so I think I'll give this a shot. I'm trying to teach myself to like new music again.
