This record needs more love around here. They are such a talented group of songwriters and musicians. This isn't some crazy abstract avant-garde metal, rather it is just incredibly well crafted and deftly executed music. The melodies are so catchy, the song structures complex, yet accessible, and the performances from all the musicians are top notch. It is of the caliber of performances I expect to hear at the orchestral hall, not on a metal record. This is for sure going to be one of, if not the, album of the year for myself.
