opener “Lost in the Echo” is Linkin Park for the new decade, with a blistering sequence of introductory programming leading into a pulsating electro-rock groove

Why would you recommend 'Victimized'?

Well, it's significantly different (in form and function) from anything they've ever written before. Also I don't buy into the idea that just because they're rich and popular they aren't allowed to scream the phrase "Victimized! Victimized! Never again - victimized!" ;)

I wouldn't mind Linkin Park making more songs like Victimized.

Same. It kind of washes over me in places though.

Tried to stream this on iTunes, gave up because it kept stopping in the middle of "Burn It Down." Though it did once go into "Lies Greed Misery" ... unfortunately. The first three tracks aren't bad, but what I heard of LGM was horrible.

That being said, the part where Chester screams "LET YOU GO" in the bridge of "Lost in the End" reminds me of SpongeBob's scream in "Graveyard Shift."

^Nvm, I spoke too soon. The first minute or so annoyed the crap out of me when I first listened to it, but now that I've listened to it all the way through (decided to start the stream there instead of at the beginning of the album), I'd put it in the class of the first three tracks. Mind you, I apparently like "Burn It Down" a lot more than you do, lol (hated it at first but it's been slowly growing on me).

Oh man the stream keeps sh!tting the bed on me. Now it cut the cord just when "I'll Be Gone" was about to get going.

Linkin Park should've stopped after Meteora. This streamed on iTunes the other night and I checked it

out and let it play as background music as my friend and I played some Left 4 Dead and this album is

pathetic! Maybe even worse than A Thousand Suns (if that's already possible).

The ONLY good track I found is "Lost in the Echo." I actually had high hopes when it started out with

that song, but after that song, it went to hell real quick. I've given up on Linkin Park making a

comeback.
