I liked Hybrid Theory and Meteora and only Shadow of the Day for MTM, A Thousand Suns I just couldn't get into no matter how hard I tried. It was one listen for me and that was it.

On first listen to Living Things, I always seem to skip Burn It Down since its so uninspiring and blah, the 2nd half of the album gets kinda boring but its tolerable. Surprised they had the guitarist sing on one of the songs. I might like some more songs on my 2nd and 3rd listen. A lot of these songs are forgettable and none have yet to stick in my head yet.

Another reason to go and dig out Hybrid Theory.

There's no way that A Thousand Suns deserves to score a lower average (2.5) than Living Things (3.1), but this being Sputnik I am not entirely surprised.

Ratings mean nothing half the time on here.

You sure about that, man? Went through your 5's, and they all have Sputnik ratings of four or higher. Went through your 1's, and they all have pitiful scores. Seems like it's right most of the time with you.

It works similarly with me. Most of the time, the ratings are pretty accurate.

What album do you think has been done an injustice or needs to be done a justice? Personally, I don't think Vampires Everywhere! should have a rating as high as it does.

Victimized is their best song since anything on Meteora, and even then it's only 2min and has the most boring chorus

This is probably exaggerating, but this album is a whole lot of average

Just listened to this. Wow, I actually really dug parts of A Thousand Suns but this is atrocious. There's maybe 2 good songs on here and one of them isn't even 2 minutes long. Burn It Down is so bad and doesn't even sound like the same group.

I def. find the 2nd half of this album much more enjoyable than the first. The experimental aspects of it keep things interesting.
