Listened to An Honourable Reign and damn those vocals are good for new metalcore.

Yeah the vocals are what makes the album, his cleans are so damn epic. It also helps that these are

some of the best damn metalcore songs I've heard in a long time.

Fantastic album, was chatting with Davyd (the bassist) at their last UK gig back in February and he said the new Album will be heavier and faster, even without Mehdi!

I like their sound but then I found out they are a christian band, which ruined it for me.

"I hear the serpent lies,

But I resist them this time,"

"Reign upon me, show me how I will survive. Try and tell me a way to feel alive. Bring it back to life, to whole new heights and tell me what is needed. I know you'll guide me home down this darkened road. Rain upon me, shower me with the tears of salvation. Hold me close, hold me near."

"Oh Lord, have mercy, don't tell me I have sinned...

For no one in this world has seen the sights that I have seen!"

"You were my saviour, I was your sin.

Exorcise me! Oh, the demon...the demon, it has me!"

Yes they are.

Still not a Christian band. At least, IF they are, they have far from labeled themselves as such. Also, I was told by someone that this was kind of a loose concept album.

"Steven Spedding of Sputnikmusic credited their song writing and that they have found a formula that works for them saying "They have harnessed an ability to write more measured sections, where the aggression is toned down for tasteful instrumentals and this I feel is where they excel most." "

Found in the wiki page of this album.

Old but hey, good review Speds, pos'd

The production in this is seeming a bit funny, the guitars have an awesome analog tone but sometimes it doesn't seem to blend that well. Still sounds awesome in most of the riffs. A portuguese dude produced this lol
