Both bands are mediocre but get treated as if they're the saviors of pop music...I'd be able to appreciate them more if I didn't have to hear I Will Wait and Radioactive twice a day and witness asenine amounts of praise regarding each artist.

I can jam Demons, it's overplayed by the local rock stations but as long as KIIS fm et al. stay away from it, it's fine.
Radioactive on the other hand? Ugh. Though truthfully I'm glad rock/indie pop is starting to go mainstream. I'll take Radioactive over any generic commercial rap song any day

tbh i don't give a single fuck about how people listening to music consider themselves.
i care more about the actual music. and while i'm not too fond of radioactive (though this is probably due to it getting overplayed) it's still better than hearing flo rida rap and hearing that horrid poppy chorus that'll probably get stuck in your head in spite of its shittiness.
