another ripper. don't see how this is a step down from the first two at all. maybe a touch less memorable in the riff department but a really great album. drums high in the mix sure but the speed is sick. gotta respect something so fast and loud. the abrupt cut offs to songs is an odd choice though lol

I prefer the Immortal albums after their absolute pinnacle (ATHOW) over the albums that preceeded it, with the exception of Pure Holocaust, which is awesome.

blizzard beasts gets unfair hate because of the production (which for black metal is pretty ironic). mountains of might is as good as anything on here or pure holocaust.
