Haven't given his later stuff a try but I seriously listen to Scott 1 at least twice a day. I tried something from The Drift and just couldn't get into it :/

Some moments in Corps De Blah seem a little like it. Really, I think the album could have benefited from that track being refined a bit more.
When comparing this album to the two that preceded it, it does seem like a little bit of a let down overall.

I understand it; this is certainly the most absurd album he had ever put out. It took me a little bit to decide exactly how I felt about it.

The silliness and crudeness of it all is what seems to throw a lot of people. I'd say that the key to enjoying it is keeping an open mind and not taking yourself too seriously.

The first listen to the album is quite a ride if you don't know what to expect. The sphincter part had me pause thinking "You've gone too far this time, Scott!"

Shame it was pushed a month, but it's amazing to see anything involving Scott Walker coming out so quickly. Heck, it's impressive for any collaborative work with him to come to fruition or see the light of day.

I honestly thought that "Phrasing" seemed like it could easily be made in to a single. Maybe if they cut the intro a bit.
Of course Epizootics was the best choice for promotion, since it was one of the strongest moments.
