Lol, I saw them on my birthday in 2009.

They're excellent live, though!

Unlike some of the songs from SOTU, the DeMa songs are begging to be played live. Soothe My Soul especially will go down a storm

@Kaleid

Totally agreed. I look forward to sing "Soothe My Soul" along with the band next September. I'm sure

it's going to be one heck of a tour =]

I am hoping 4-5 songs from Delta, maybe 6, and the rest from other albums. There are so many I would

like to hear live. If I had to choose the "return of a song" I would definitely say "Strangelove".

Yeah, they limit it to 4-5 new songs because they say there are so many fans who want the hits, and they've had so many, so it becomes difficult.

I hope they perform those lesser-played songs, too. If you check out the Letterman gig they did, you'll see them resurrect Barrel Of A Gun; needed a bit of a polish, but I was really glad to see it live again. I'd really like them to do The Sun & The Rainfall live too.

@Kaleid: TSATR is never gonna happen. You'll be lucky if you get 6 songs from Delta Machine and the regular greatest hits. Perhaps Everything Counts will make a return, but that's about it. If you take Barrel of a Gun into account as well, that would make 2 surprises. Add one surprise for the encore, and that's it.

Wow Dave is really getting into that live performance on Letterman. Looks like he is in a good mood and happy with the way the record turned out.

It does seem so; he's always happier when they put a bluesy vibe on an album

I hope they do a few changes to the set list tbh, its been too similar for the last 2 tours, stuff from the new album + stuff from Black Celebration-Faith and Devotion era's. I was glad to see Barrel of a Gun however, maybe 1 or 2 from Exciter and one of the singles from Construction Time Again like Everything Counts or Love, In Itself, possibly Blasphemous Rumors too?

I so want them to play Blasphemous Rumours live

What kind of setlist I personally would like to hear (for a total sum of ≃ 21 songs like the SOTU

Tour) :

- 4-5 songs from Delta Machine

- The top top top essentials : Never Let Me Down Again, Personal Jesus and Enjoy the Silence

- 3-4 Post-Alan singles : songs like Barrel of a Gun, It's No Good, John the Revelator, Precious,

Wrong, etc.

- 1-2 songs from Black Celebration (title track, Fly on the Windscreen, Stripped, Question

of Time).

- Another Violator song (World in My Eyes, Policy of Truth).

- Another MFTM song (Strangelove, Behind the Wheel, Nothing).

- 1-2 songs from Faith and Devotion (I Feel You, Walking in My Shoes).

- Everything Counts from CTA.

- One song from SGR (People Are People, M&S, Blasphemous Rumours).

- Just Can't Get Enough if the band still "feels" it :P

- The non-accoustic version of Shake the Disease (with the beats, the keyboards and everything).

It's not interesting me so far. It might be that the only DM album that I've ever really been into is Ultra.

You should check out Soulsavers - The Light The Dead See, with Gahan on vocals. I look at it as Ultra pt. 2, but more soulful.
