i see a lot of exaggerated praise for the arguable "improvement" that this band has made. a lot of times in music criticism consistent bands tend to be ignored or degraded because we "expect more from them," but when a terrible band slightly improves their game it gives the illusion of this great overhaul. if you go from being dog shit to cat shit you've improved, but you're still shit.



i dont think this is an improvement however because it sounds like annoying indie church music that some little kid would sing picking flowers. and isn't even remotely fun, which is all this band was good for (though I never personally liked them)
