genuinely surprised how poorly the vocal writing has held up for me though. its as if the whole record is built exclusively off the first 3 pitches in the scale and it's sadly kinda boring to me now as a result. adultery still whips ass tho

so, the 10-year anniversary vinyl includes a rendition of Abner Jay's "I'm So Depressed" and its amazing. fits the vibe of the album perfectly, and is right in Bob's wheelhouse. is it as good as Abner's classic? probably not, but i'm glad they included it on the record.
