i evaluate a few things when rating music. in this case, this album helped me through a lot in high school and has a lot of sentimental value attached. other albums, like tomorrow in a year, i can only listen to when i'm in the mood for them, which is fine because they're perfect when i am. i don't equate 5/5 to being "perfect" or revolutionary. the only criteria that really matters to me is how much i enjoy it. i don't believe there should be a finite amount of 5s a person gives out because that's just setting a standard for the sake of it, or for the sake of credibility or w/e
