I used to not like this album (and by extension Linkin Park) until I went to a college part and experienced the bump n grind potential of 'One Step Closer'. Changed my whole perspective on shit!

A Place For My Head is still such a great song. Was my jam back in the day.

I used to love this and Meteora when I was in the 14-16 ages, but I can't really take it seriously anymore.

This is actually well-written, even if it's a bit unusual.

While Linkin Park is no longer my all-time favorite band, and I don't hold this album in as high regard as I used to, it's still fun to listen to (and not for nostalgia purposes. I genuinely enjoy this when I hear it).

Very touching review.

This album exposed me to a whole new world.

Through it, just like you, I discovered my love for music.

It gave me a way to channel the pain I went through from third grade and all the way to junior high. Without the release and comfort I received from the music, I would've probably either killed myself or turned to violence. Depression and a tendency for tantrums - be it towards friends or family - were already an issue in my life at a young age.

Hybrid Theory definitely deserves the 'classic' title, for it had a very strong impact on people's hearts.

"At its purest, music is a form of people-watching for me: I can see how others treat the world in demeanor, speech, and thoughts, and learn that many people see and hear the world close to how I do."
beautiful perspective that I agree with
