I saw TPR live a couple of years back & recall thinking before-hand that they would be a train-wreck, so my expectations were low. They were far from it though & Taylor's voice genuinely wowed me.



As for their lyrics, I have to agree. There's some cringeworthy stuff on this LP in particular. It's why I suggest getting some outside help.

Taylor Momsen can sing. And from what I've heard of the band they have a kind of greasy groovy hard rock sound. It's quite refreshing.
