agreed they sound even more like Candlemass on this one than S&E. not a bad thing at all though, since they pull it off so well and add a couple modern elements.

Absolutely agree with your review! The album is a step up from Sorrow and Extinction, which was good but was missing the dynamics that are found here. The production on Foundations does so much justice to their sound, and the vocals have certainly improved.

i love so much about this record but for some reason it drags a tad more than the first one to me. can't pick out any specific aspect that bothers me, maybe just needs more spins.
