"Yeah, but that's kinda funny when you look at it. Deathcore bands usually had lyrics about more mundane stuff like lifting weights, punching people and being a bro. This band kinda gets closer to actual metal with its lyrical content, kinda funny to observe" this is the greatest thing i've read on this site so far

edit: i don't mean that sarcastically tho

I mean I like Xfing well enough, but damn not once have I ever come across a deathcore band that writes about lifting weights.

I know you wouldn't lower yourself to that level, but I'm not so sure about Nocturnalize, huhu

I'm still waiting for you to give me one example of a deathcore band that writes about lifting weights.

FFDP have probably mentioned lifting at least once, tho they're not dethc0r. I'm sure Emmure will tackle it on their next LP tho don't worry.

i'd rather listen to an lp about lifting weights than /r/atheism's deathcore heroes

hey games you should have an instrumental track on your deathcore ep with a gym soundtrack, like weights getting lifted and dropped and bro bumps and sweat drips etc

Ok, maybe no band writes about that literally, but you definitely get that tough guy vibe from many of them, how many times they use "fucking" in a song etc. I was mostly referring to early bands like despised icon, suicide silence etc tho
