Bleachers is definitely better than what I've heard of Nate Solo

In fact I enjoy bleachers about as much as I do fun

i honestly think that nate's voice is completely awful ~90% of the time

also, to all fans of this: jam steel train instead. they rule. :]

It's not that I don't respect that opinion Arcade, but would you mind explaining? Because to me they make the same kinds of music.

That's fine but musically speaking they do pretty much the same thing - not sure what an 'insipid hook' entails, but I'm sure if Fun has them so does Bleachers.

I think it comes down to how much you enjoy the vocalist. I enjoy them about equally personally, with Nate's high vocals reminding me of everyone from Brian Wilson to Freddie Mercury (although not nearly as good - just reminiscent at times - to be 100% clear...see Benson Hedges). Antonoff on the other hand has more of a down to earth voice, and the instrumentals and production are what gives everything that 'huge' sound...see Rollercoaster.

So yeah it's all about whether or not one can stand Nate's voice, IMO, because as objectively speaking as possible they're about equally talented musically.

From what i've heard i like nate's voice better, but i haven't heard antonoff's voice that much. Which reminds me; i should check out bleachers, i love I Wanna Get Better and Rollercoaster

Man, the intro and title track get you thinking whoa this could be a classic pop album, then it just shits on your face. The closer is sweet though.

It Gets Better just pisses me off. The chorus is the laziest thing I've ever heard probably, and unbelievably annoying.
