Non linear writing works really well if done well. I think this work rather well. It got me interested right away in the album so I kept reading. When a review starts with the history of the band or some nonsense it's really boring and makes me not want to read any more.

no choice but to bump it up after more listens. Didn't expect this to be so good, I'm not that much of a Nightbringer fan like some people. This is probalby my 2nd favorite release this year behind Leviathan's new one.

Went back and listened to Nightbringer after spinning this, didn't dislike it as much as I recall. Defintley some similarities but this is Much better overall imo.
Need a few more serious listens to get it all.

Man this album is quite a ride. It really takes a few listens to fully grasp the brilliance of these songs. The ending of breath and levitation is simply breathtaking. What a debut!
