yeah it does a little but i thought it was more about her personal life, like, it wasn't saying like "she's slutty and a disgusting drug addict!!", it was more like "she's experiencing personal turmoil" which is not demeaning nor preachy in any way (although a little patronizing)

tbh imo the thing about reviewing pop stars in my opinion is that you can't separate the person's identity from the music, because their image and personality is such a massive part of their notoriety and it's generally reflected in the songs. i guess i could have been less negative towards my perception of her in general but all of my reviews have been pop and i generally attempt criticize and praise everyone equally so i'll work on that



i'd be really disappointed in myself if i ever hit at someone for their sex life, gender, or sexuality lol, especially as someone who's a part of the lgbt community
