I love this band and this album. Best album since Get Born by Jet. Go buy it if you like Jet. Both are phenomenal bands.

good go buy it. Steady As She Goes, Hands, Together, and Broken Boy Soldiers are all great songs. The rest are all pretty amazing also. I dunno I love Jet too and am waiting eagerly until Oct. 3rd until Shine On comes out! In the meantime I'll jam to the Raconteurs.

I'm not a fan boy of mister Jack White.It's just that I can't stand metal anymore.It's getting too big...everywhere.If metal is the new rock I prefer to stop listening to music.Metal is thoughtless,without emotions,without reason to live.It's only for the angry boys...

I believe that Metal (especially American metal) is getting so popular because of all the war and stuff that going on right now around the world. Everyone's pissed off, and they want that extra edge. But it isn't thoughtless and it does have emotion, your just not paying attention close enough. Rock is still rock, metal isn't the new rock, it's exactly what it sounds....it's metal.

I've only heard Steady as she goes and Level but I really like Level... Steady was pretty ok. I'm a fan of Jack so I have pretty high hopes for him in the future. This is their first album so i'm not expecting too much. They need time to become a real band.

I definitely prefer Consolers of the Lonely, but this is also an incredible album. Anyone who hasn't really listened to the Raconteurs should right now.

Nothing on here is close to as good as Steady, As She Goes. Broken Boy Soldier is close, while Store Bought Bones and Intimate Secretary are fun little oddities. The rest of the songs, though don't come anywhere near Jack White's potential.

STEADY AS SHE GOES

Never heard this record and don't have any intention to but Steady as She Goes is one of the worst and most irritating songs I've ever heard. I'm sure it was a jam in the 00s but it has not aged well at all. Seriously it's like a fucking Jet song
