idk, they are completely different beasts, i have to be in a totally different mood to listen to LM whereas this just riffs so hard i can listen to it whenever

Riffs here are decent but the production is so tame it makes them riff as hard as a pancake

yeah that's how i've felt about this one too, that's what drew me in when they released beast whip and final will

It has punch in sense of a low end yeah, but it's quite lacking in visceral terms. Seems to be mixed way too clean to be about something so enveloped in nature and sounds sedated in comparison to EoB especially.

production is actually excellent, but I'd prefer if it were a bit rawer. also some riffs are great, but some of them are really dull imo

I think it would benefit from being just a tad rawer. I love how immense the drums sound but the guitars are too clean when compared to the animalistic sound of the vocals

I got the 2LP of this for some reason. It came with a pretty substantial insert which I figured was a lyric book. Nope. Just creepy pictures of faces in the same manner as the cover. Okay.

I'll probably bump my rating on this. 2016 has a lot stiffer competition than 2015 even just halfway through but this is certainly in the conversation for my favourite of this year so far.
