CW and OTIP are classics and I'll defend RW til I die because thats a fantastic rock n roll record in its own right, but this album comes damn close to beating OTIP for me.
Also digging some of the past references to older songs, like the Gates reference in Your Wild Years and the Nothing Feels Good Anymore reference in Lookers.

its less of a genre and more of a way to describe the music more thoroughly. if someone asked me what genre a band was, i would never say "Americana." it would always be an add-on. "The Menzingers are a punk band with elements of Americana."
