The bands sound finally matured on this album. Hard to believe that the same band who wrote Violet Girl and No Escape From Dreamland also released Desperate Dreams.

anybody know if he uses programmed drums? they sound programmed to me but i could be wrong.

Sounds real to me. Just has an artificial triggered bass drum sound.

I find the woman's voice simultaneously soothing and misplaced at the same time, almost like it adds this awkward tone to the music.
