Just finished my first listen and I absolutely adored it. This is my current AotY contender. It's difficult to find a way to describe how the music makes you feel while doing it justice, and you did a better job than I probably could. Thanks again for review it, Frip, and I'm glad it got a well-deserved feature, otherwise I may have missed it, but now I have another artist whose discography I must consume.

Also, Love Songs gave me a big Road to Perdition vibe.

The first movement was good and the last song was phenomenal. I don't understand what he was thinking with the middle though. It really kinda dismantles the mood set by the first and third part.

Wow, came into this not having heard of Richter before and with no expectations.

Damn good! he'd be a great addition to modern film composers.

The reading of Virginias suicide note and 'the waves' as a 'piece' is something else. Mwam Mwam craft ale, beard.

Not as good as his early stuff but still solid Richter.

Revisiting this, the first section is pure bliss, especially "II. Mrs. Dalloway: In the Garden".

Yeah, this is fantastic. I need to give it more attention, though, been using it almost as background music.
