Yes this is Kurt's first go with Darkest Hour. they got lucky when they asked their new label for $50,000 to make this record and the label just went ahead and gave them $70,000.

I enjoyed Devin Townsend's production on Undoing Ruin but I think Ballou is just a master when it comes to producing.
