Review is good, but I think you should proofread it by reading it out loud to yourself, slowly. I think you will discover some things.

Also, I think the first paragraph is a bit long and could be broken up and/or the writing tightened up a bit.

Album is great, but I agree with you on the catchiness part.

I actually think the solos are the weakest parts of this. Everything is top gun, but the solos are generic mid-2000s melodic metal solos. I think they could have been much more exotic and flashy.

Good review, this is definitely the best since Deliver Us.

Got bored of this fast, the production and performances a great, but it lacks memorable melodies like Undoing Ruin had, or why not, even the S/T had incredible songs (the goddess figure, hypatia rising)

I think the 3.6 score is perfect. Review is good and spot on.

John Henry KILLS it every single time.

To my knowledge this album didn't chart, if it did I'll change that sentence

I felt like this album was a return to the first few DH releases without sacrificing what they learned from Undoing Ruin and Deliver Us. Needless to say, this is the best thing they've released since then.

"To my knowledge this album didn't chart, if it did I'll change that sentence"

The s/t had the highest chart rating on the top 200 compared to the other albums that actually made it. Granted it wasn't very high but still.

I meant to say the s/t didn't chart on the Heatseekers but aside from that it charted everywhere else higher than the rest of their discog.

Sorry if that confused you.

THR is a solid album for sure, but the two after it were not too good

What were the actual record sales numbers because isn't there a pretty vast differnce in how many you need to sell now to chart comparedto back then?

@Adolf oh yea, I always forget that The Eternal Return came out before THR. Wasn't the biggest fan of Eternal Return or the s/t

"Oh you mean it charted higher in other countries?"

I meant in the same charts where the other albums were ranked. None of DH's albums, not even the s/t, charted in any other countries, at least as far as I know.
