Thanks ephemeral...

Maybe I was misinterpreted or I'm dumb AF and couldn't explain myself. Dudes here are very jumpy tho!

What I meant is that heavier, non-melodic tracks, are just that, heavy (yeah, maybe not aggressive like hardcore music would be).... they lack that groove that plenty of trash songs have (Slayer, Kreator).

lol your not dumb and there's no need to apologize bro a lot of people find thrash to be aggressive and i understand what you meant.

Solos could have been better. I don't see any improvement in technical skill or phrasing versus their older albums.

Call me crazy, listened to this a few times already and then spun Deliver Us today and I think this is easily their best record now.

This whole album rocks pretty hard but I think the final track is my personal favorite, like damn the riffs are beyond incredible.

I have only listened to this a couple of times so far, but I wouldn't be surprised if I end up thinking the same

Deliver Us is great, but I think some of the cleans and melo death stuff they do on there gets hokey at times, this is just straight forward unadulterated rage for 12 tracks.

it' just personal preference, i prefer their melodic side whereas if I want aggression i'll put on some grind or sludge.
I think my favorite of theirs may actually be hidden hands it strikes the perfect balance between rage and melody whereas the 2 after it can get a bit corny at times yeah
