Pretty good stuff. I don't find myself listening to much other than Deliver Us from these guys, but I'd put this on the same level as Undoing Ruin and The Human Romance.

This and Deliver Us are about equal for me. Both are way, way better than The Human Romance.

Haven't heard anything else from them, but that will change soon.

Undoing ruin is just a prototype for Deliver us idk how you can prefer one so strongly over the other

UR's songwriting still felt a little clumsy at times. its still one of their essential albums though, along with Sadist Nation, Deliver Us, this, and most would probably disagree with me but id put THR in there too.

Deliver us is more commercial metalcore I think? But after saying that, songs like Sanctuary / Stand and Receive Your Judgement are anything but commercial. Maybe its just that it showed up on Guitar Hero.

they started doing more melodic vocal work on Deliver Us. that's what happened.

Yeah I mean Convalescence had some of it, but that song is dark and heavy as fuck. Thats the difference to me.
