Well songs 1 and 2 are 2/4 of the awesome songs on here, the rest is a little dull.

The third one is amazing too though, I wasn't hugeeee on the 4th one
I totally understand the complaints about this being too on-the-nose but it doesn't bother me much

A Better Sun (4th song) is such a grower. Didn't care for it at first myself

@Atari completely agree with that. When it first came out as the second single I was not at all impressed, but I love it now. Still nothing on here competes with No Halo.

I'm getting my contacts on you you're donezo kid.
Good review though, can definitely see why people wouldn't find this album as engaging as others.

You're not as blank as you think is the only way I can read/say it, but saying that defeats the purpose of the blank space. Dumb.

Interesting featured review considering the overall thoughts on this so far. I think the harshness on this is very much un-grounded. God forbid they name drop a few references, something that surely isn't done in any other musical genre regularly *cough* hip hop...

Great opening track.

Good review, even though the same references to JB and MB could have been made just once. Also I don't really think you can compare Julien Baker to this
|
| |
There's a song that involves a dialogue between the singer and Julien and he also cribs one of the key lyrics from her record. Both artists aim for similar audiences with similar themes.
|
| |
Haven't heard the record but I can't fucking stand it when bands reference other bands or even their own material. Corniest bullshit. Plus it's Sorority Noise so I knew that average had to be overblown. Will check nonetheless to confirm.
