It's....pretty good. Honeymoon stage is fading so I hope it doesn't lose its luster. Has some of their best work, though.

Damn, this is easily the most underwhelming Mastodon album to date. Maybe that will change after further repeated listens...
I thought the first two single releases "Sultan's Curse" and "Show Yourself" were good (but not great) solid tracks.

I've listened to the album whole way through three times. On first listen I would've rated it a 3 maybe but it grew on me on subsequent listens.

I remember when I first listened to Leviathan, I liked it but I didn't digest it fully until after a few spins.
Mastodon have always been consistent. A lot of people think they are overrated but I think they are a very decent band indeed. I never really liked Crack the Skye that much though (in comparison to their first three albums).
