I haven't really listened to any trip-hop or for that matter much electronic or even "pop-oriented" music in general. I actually don't predict i'll be too into it but who knows.

Maybe but man I dig something with some crunch or energy to it (listening to diSEMBOWLEMENT at the moment for the first time and fuck me it's good).

I guess when I hear Trip-Hop I think of something more trance like and chill. I'll probably have to be in the mood for this but yeah i'll jam it.

Great review, really interested in how this will sound, though the single didn't do a whole lot for me.

I've been a big Ulver fan ever since the release of their 1995 album, Bergtatt. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Bergtatt where Garm's presence became more apparent. I think Shadows of the Sun was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums.

Bergtatt, Nattens, and Shadows are all easy 5's for me.
