other users have commented that your writing can be thesaurus-y.
and regardless of whether or not sach is impartial, he's one of few users who has no qualms about criticizing staff writers. his criticism doesn't need to be taken wholeheartedly, but to dismiss it entirely due to his persona seems shortsighted. the several comments he made on this page (page 4) were pretty reasonable.

bad logic, and I'm sure you know that. you don't need to be a red seal chef to judge a meal, and you don't need to be an active/serious reviewer to judge a review.
sach often baits, and probably deserves to be called out when he does, but i don't think he's baiting here. i don't feel as strongly re: jac's writing as imo jac is one of the better writers on the site, but there's always room to fine tune.
