Well the review was quite nice, despite that I disagree with plenty of the points. The bass, well yeah you can't say it any better than that. But I believe that the other guitarist does a create job with rhythm, (Thank You For The Venom intro). Regarding the lead lines, I'm Not Okay's might be a little weak, but Thank You For The Venom, To The End and You Know what they do to guy's like us in Prison all are big hits with me.
In the end, you do a great job of describing your points, I just disagree with many of them. Nice work nevertheless.

This has grown on me. I definately think Gerard's vocals are better on this. Maybe becuase he isnt' a stumbling drunk anymore.

"It's no secret that I'm not a fan of this band, but I don't fault them the press and the fact that they've embraced it. If I make a movie that really takes off, I am going to milk that son of a bitch for everything it's worth. I'll continue making movies for the sheer enjoyment of it, but I'm not going let an opportunity for recognition and more money (which will translate into bigger budgets for moviemaking) pass me by."
Yeah, its not as if any pop-rock fauxmo band like MCR will suddenly decide to be a Satanic black metal group just to avoid getting more popular;it would be amusing if they did.
Fauxmo=Fake emo, I guarantee Kerrang! will or have already used this term within the year, but I am taking kudos.
How Gerard Way has become a sex icon is one of the great and more disturbing mysteries of life. Shows teenage girls will whore themselves to anyone who's got a whiny voice and wears tons of foundation.

Ville Vallo as a sex symbol is more disturbing.
i used to like this album, but for some unexplained reason, i have grown to hate it with a fiery passion. I'd have to say, the only song that the guitarists actually managed to impress me on was "thank you for the venom". I really hate MCR, and i dont even know why.
Sounds like you're only telling yourself that you don't like them.
