Don't start man, Sab's gonna write you another essay on dynamic range and the negative effects of the loudness war on the music industry!

Yeah man, as a hardcore TBM fan for a decade, this album was a bit of a letdown. I guess all bands' golden streaks have to end sometime. One" was an amazing track though.

Walking With Strangers, it blows this away. All their albums have the same sound though, so if you like the style they will all be winners at varying levels.

Chibi is what my ideal gf looks like, not very attractive, but smart and she can sing. Oh and she likes sailor moon.

@Evo: I'd say you are correct. In a direct comparison at same volume it seems pretty much the same thing everywhere give or take a bit of air here and there. It made me realize that all things considered I really like this album's sound. It's a very rich mix, every listen I discover something new!

best since Walking with Strangers [2]

Rate it and let's bring it to 3.8 average, it deserves it.

Three years ago I was a bit obsessed with these guys and it's pleasant discover they have released new material. Also, at a first glance, it seems good as the older ones, and it bring me back to those days. They have the talent to write always different but recognizable catchy melodies.

eeh I'm leaning towards a 3.5 at the moment, I don't want to put it on the same level of WwS. There are a few songs that I like significantly less than others (granted I still dig, 3.5s are no joke imo). This does have some excellent stuff though. I think that Hex is one of their best songs

This band really really likes purple.

Scott Weiland justified the name of the second STP album by saying: "It's the colour of the bruises".

Purple is the best color for album covers possible imo. That's mostly because of its dreamy nature ... A purple cover often feels like a world of its own, and so does an album if done right
